Separate incident light into two parts at any division ratio! We handle everything from substrate procurement to film formation and bonding.
The "polarizing beam splitter" separates incident light into two parts at a specified wavelength range and with any division ratio, without absorbing almost any P-waves or S-waves. There are cube-type and planar-type options, and our company handles everything from substrate procurement to film formation and bonding. With a wealth of available jigs and ideas, we can accommodate extremely short delivery times. Please feel free to consult us when you need assistance. 【Features】 ■ Separates without absorbing almost any P-waves or S-waves ■ Accommodates extremely short delivery times with a wealth of available jigs and ideas *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
ND filter beam splitter
Adjusting the amount of light transmitted without changing the color tone ND filter beam splitter used in various optical devices 【Features】 ○ Two types are available: one that adjusts the transmittance using special glass or resin that absorbs light, and another that adjusts the transmittance with a half-mirror coating. ○ The half-mirror coating is broadly classified into two categories: dielectric multilayer films and metal films, with chromium (Cr) commonly used as the material for metal films due to its excellent durability. We can propose the optimal solution according to the customer's application. ○ Transmittance and reflectance Dielectric multilayer films have almost zero absorption, so when combined, the transmittance and reflectance total approximately 100%. The transmittance (reflectance) can be set arbitrarily in the range of 0 to 100%. ● For other functions and details, please download the catalog.
Less ghosting than a plate beam splitter.
Produced by Spectral Optics, the cube-shaped beam splitter is used because it has no angular displacement and fewer ghosts than plate beam splitters. It has a dielectric partial reflection coating on the inside. All four sides are coated with anti-reflective (AR) coating for specific wavelengths. Please input collimated, parallel light. The bonded cube beam splitter can be used up to 1064nm at 1J/cm². The new molecular fusion bonding technology from Spectral Optics allows for permanent bonding, creating an optically connected unit. This enables their use in very high energy/high power laser applications. No optical cement or other materials that degrade coating performance are used.
The laser beam is split into two orthogonal polarization components.
The cube beam splitter consists of two right-angle prisms coated with a special dielectric coating. The polarizing cube beam splitter divides a laser beam into two orthogonal polarization components or is used to combine them into one beam. It transmits P-polarization and reflects S-polarization at 90°. In low-power applications, the cube is assembled using a transparent refractive index matching adhesive at the junction with two 90° right-angle prisms. It can be used up to 1064nm at 1 J/cm². Please enter from the marked surface. Optical contact cubes offer good beam quality, high damage thresholds, a wide wavelength range, and wavefront accuracy, but they are not mechanically stable due to the fragile nature of the optically contacted interface. The new molecular fusion bonding technology from Spectral Optics permanently bonds without using cement or other materials that degrade coating performance.
Broadband polarizing beam splitter cube made from SF2 glass.
Spectras Optics supplies broadband polarizing beam splitter cubes made from SF2 glass. Since SF2 glass has a high refractive index, the broadband polarizing cube beam splitter can be used for high-performance wideband applications. For low and medium power lasers, up to 1 J/cm².
A revolutionary polarization-independent beam splitter that can be used with high-power lasers.
Spectral Optics' TrueSplit is a groundbreaking product in beam splitter technology. Most unpolarized beam splitters use hybrid metal coatings or optical cement that absorbs energy. TrueSplit does not use adhesives with hard dielectric coatings. As a result, it achieves absorption below 3%, P-S polarization performance, and a damage threshold of over 20 J/cm². Furthermore, it can achieve almost any R/T ratio (not just 50/50) and nearly any wavelength. The standard unit has a size of 2 ½ inches x 2 ½ inches with an effective diameter of 5/8 inches, and other sizes can be manufactured.
Effective for use in multiple reflections! Unpolarized beam splitter that enhances polarization contrast in optical microscopes, vertical illumination, CCD cameras, and more.
The wideband hybrid type of unpolarized beam splitter features a hybrid film structure that combines metal and dielectric films. While the effective wavelength range is broad, the differences in transmission/reflection characteristics for P and S polarization are controlled within 6%, allowing for the production of beam angles (transmission angles) with a deviation of less than 2 minutes to reduce beam misalignment. By applying an AR coating (anti-reflective film) optimized for the specified wavelength range, the transmission efficiency can be maximized, and by applying a black coating treatment, unwanted reflections (stray light) can be eliminated, making it possible to address glare and ghosting issues.
